El Pescador Lodge
El Pescador Lodge is located approximately one hour and forty minutes from the colonial town of El Fuerte, Sinaloa, Mexico.
The lodge is nestled in an arroyo below the small pueblo of Tahuanites that has a population of 53 inhabitants, many of whom work for
El Pescador. From the front patio one can view Lake Huites and the majestic mountains that protect her. The scenery surrounding Lake Huites is probably the best of all the Mexican bass fishing lakes. The walk to the lake under normal water conditions is a short one and many guests take advantage of this by walking to their awaiting boats each morning.
El Pescador Lodge was designed with small groups in mind. We cater to groups of 8 to 10 fishermen but do have accommodations for up to 14 persons if needed. Amenities include bedrooms with 3 persons to a room.
There are three bathrooms with hot showers. The dining area is large and includes a small bar where all beverages including domestic alcohol and beer are included in your package price.
Our Chef Jorge serves three delicious meals a day and most guests have indicated that dining at the
El Pescador is one of the best parts of the trip (second only to the great fishing!). We also have a nice covered patio area where many guests spend there evenings exchanging fishing stories, playing cards or just enjoying the peaceful and serene setting that
El Pescador Lodge provides.
El Pescador Lodge is small but comfortable and our English speaking staff
has over ten years experience each in catering to the needs of fishermen in Mexico.
Staff members include our manager Jesus Ruiz, our head guide Javier Navarro and our chef Jorge Navarro. Every attempt will be made to see that you have a wonderful time while you are our guests and that your fishing trip to Lake Huites will be a memorable one.
